Purolator Metaledge™ Self cleaning filters feature a rotating wedgewire screen rated from 25 micron to 500 micron.

Metaledge filters are available in stainless steel and have been used in applications such as toothpaste, chewing gum, lube oil, glues and adhesives, and paints.

  • Flow rates from 2 GPM to 400 GPM are capable.
  • Stainless steel units with explosion proof motors avaiable
  • Micron Wedgewire screens available from 25 micron to 200 micron
  • Units range from 3/4″ connections to 4″ flanged connections, 150 psi design to 275F
  • Electric Motor drives the rotating wedgewire screen, which allows a blade to scrape particulate off of the filtration surface.
  • Applications include chewing gum base, toothpaste, recycled oil, chocolate, and paints/pigments/coatings
