Phosphoric Acid

Phosphoric Acid has many uses in consumer and industrial markets. It is used as a rust converter, in colas to acidify and add taste to the drink, as an electrolyte in some batteries, as a ph adjuster in cosmetics, and in household cleaners.

Depending on the application, filtration of phosphoric acid may increase its effectiveness. Polypropylene would be the material of choice, due to its resistance to acids.
