Electric Utility – Transformer Insulating Oil

Wet transformers cause arcing. This builds up carbon in the insulating oil and reduces its dielectric oil strength. Dissolved water in the oil is very difficult to remove.

Velcon Systems SuperDri removes dissolved water without pulling a vacuum on the transformer or using heat. This reduces stress on the transformer and extends insulating oil life.
