Maintaining oil quality in an EDM/NCN machine is critical for insuring quality cuts and finishes and for extending the life of the cutting oil. Filtering the oil addresses the three most typical problems with oil in these machines: particulate, varnish, and water. Filtration generally consists of a pump and a filter to turn over the tank at least 5 times an hour.
