Handling Coronavirus (Covid-19) with filtration

Coronavirus (Covid-19) is transmitted through contact and may also be passed person to person through droplets from sneezes and coughs.  We’ve all seen how fast it can spread through the world’s population, and filtration (outside of N95 masks) is not effective in large open spaces.  However, coronavirus can be prevented from contaminating pharmaceutical products, water, or some breathing apparatuses through barrier filtration (membrane/media).  The coronavirus is 0.05 to 0.2 microns in size, which some of our tightest membranes and systems can prevent.  If you are in manufacturing of critical products such as contact lenses, injectibles, sterile washes, or packaging, please look into filtration as an avenue to address these potential problems.
